what even am I doing with my life

 I guess my plans got thrown off again. Husband might have pink eye - probably has it - I'm waiting for his prescription to be filled before I go over to the pharmacy, and try not to touch my eyes. I probably should do something... anything... but I find myself eating chips and cookies while playing minesweeper. That seems like... not what I really want to be doing with my life. I have no qualms with playing minesweeper when I need a little break, and I'm defnintely not against cookies and chips, but I'm only really eating them because I don't know what to eat and I know that I gotta get my body some fiber and nutrients at some point. (Actually, I'm going to make tomato cheese toast, which is a broiled open-faced sandwich with bacon, tomato slices and cheese, but I'm also making some for my kid who just ate a chicken pot pie a little while ago. I guess it's close enough to two hours that I could probably make them lunch.) Anyway, what I was doing wasn't inherently bad, but I don't really want to get to the end of the day having just played minesweeper. 

So... what do I want to have done today? A load of laundry probably. Make dinner. Make LUNCH. Get my kid to taekwondo. Maybe just a little bit of cleaning, something outside probably. It is SO lovely outside today, even standing outside for a few minutes would be really nice. 

But nothing really sounds fun. I don't have a book I'm in love with right now (and also my youngest stole my phone), video games don't appeal, I'm feeling kind of tired - I kept waking up last night. Maybe I'll just pick a spot in the front room that can use a tiny bit of cleaning and feel productive. 

Awe, I should have bought some sidewalk chalk, today would be a nice day to spend in the front, coloring. 

I suppose I'm not entirely opposed to taking a rest day, too, I just don't want it to be minesweeper and chips. That sounds terrible. It does sort of remind me of my mom, though, how she would play... oh my gosh I can't remember the name of the game, ah free cell. It was always "just one more game" and I TOTALLY do that with minesweeper. Especially on the browser, since it always has a solve-able puzzle.
