procrastination post

I should be on my way to a grocery pickup and/or Costco trip... but here I am. Not. We went to the mall, the whole family, and it was pretty fun (husband met friend and family, but mostly it was husband and friend, and my social child and their oldest... I mostly stayed with my kids and she mostly stayed with hers). And it was so nice afterward I ended up taking my youngest to the little playground down the street. She wanted to stay and play forever, including past when my grocery pickup was, but we're finally home and she's sad but not clinging to me, and I should go out and get the things. Costco I can get away with just a few for today. Eggs, dumplings, maybe uh bacon because we're all home all week and it's bacon. I just looked at my list... I GUESS I do need more than just those. Bummer. Not a lot more, but enough that it's no longer in "super fast trip" category. Which is probably fine. Oh I should take my kid and get them replacement sliders. Good idea, Mom. Glad I remembered *before* I got to Costco... though I'd rather not bring them. I'm tired. They are great, but more energetic than me, and probably will ask for five million things at the store. That is the way of that child. Maybe I'll try a video call and save the receipt... maybe. actually I'll probably just wait until next time. I need to get my butt in gear eventually - I need the grocery pickup before dinner, and I don't want to be tooooo exhausted after the shop to make dinner at all. 

I'm kind of frustrated with today. On the one hand, it's been lovely and I think the kids enjoyed today so far, but my baby keeps crying and my husband might have pink eye and we ended up having food court lunch so I actually have to make dinner. Maybe I'll buy cookies at costco and we can have that for dinner. I mean at that point I might as well buy a pizza right? Ugh I should make dinner. Just burgers and fries. I think. And burger sauce (mostly based off a big mac copycat recipe I found online).

The weather is so nice and the house is such a mess and I have so many hours left in today
