why am I TIRED
Finally didn't sleep with my 5yo - it's been pretty much all week, either that or early mornings with her - and for some reason I'm STILL tired. One night didn't fix everything? Whaaaat? Sigh.
Maybe I'll have some stupid corn dogs for lunch. Oh I guess I have that semi-disappointing casserole to eat. Probably should do that. Even if it's disappointing, all I have to do is reheat it, I don't have to plan or think too much.
I'm actually not super hungry because my stomach was kind of upset this morning. Maybe from the donuts (did I mention donuts yesterday? I went to return my kid's flute, because they're switching to percussion, and they convinced me to exchange it for a glockenspiel so they could practice at home, and anyway the music shop is right next to a tasty donut shop)... husband's stomach was upset too. So might have been the donuts - might have been the dinner I made. Not really sure, the kids didn't mention upset tummies, though I guess our youngest was the only one who ate it besides me and husband.
Not really in the mood for donuts or leftovers, now. Not sure what in the casserole could inspire an upset stomach, I guess the instant mashed potatoes might have been a little on the old side... or the heavy cream I made the potatoes with?..... I sure hope not. It smelled fine! I'm 80% certain I smelled it and caught nary a whiff of bad smell. We do actually have something kind of gross hanging out in our kitchen, and I wonder if that is making us sick, but it's going to be a real pain to clean. maybe a little gross, but mostly physically hard, so I've been putting it off.
Ugh I just wish I weren't so tired. Hopefully next week I'll get some things done and be able to enjoy my house and my life more. Wash some clothes, do some dishes, pick things up off the floor. It's nice to be able to see most of the floor, and it's been far too long. Sigh.
Yeah I'm hungry for sure but definitely don't want to eat anything. That's a shame. Maybe toast.
