SO TIRED

 Happy birthday! We're having a party and friends over. Husband wants it to be very clean so we can show off the house, and we've done a lot! It's SO much better than it was. But these last little bits are really hard. It's like the last mile of a marathon - we've worked so hard, can't we be done? Honestly I feel a little beaten... but we have at least an hour before guests come so I think I'll get the couch cover in the dryer, take out the trash, and hopefully we just need to shuffle around a few more things. 

So! Since I needed to sit down, I thought, time for another self-therapy session! Aka blogging. Yesterday we did Emily's middle school orientation. It was kind of fun to be there with her, though she wasn't anxious to stay. I kind of wanted to tour the school; however she just wanted to get back home. (We had to wait in line quite a while since we left early.) Oh, while we were waiting in line, some older student volunteers were handing out orientation info sheets, and I heard one say to herself, "I LOVE orientation!" in a dreamy voice. Later, as two more families arrived, one said "I'll take the left one!" and another, "I'll take the right!" as if they were calling their turn. 

GOD I'm so tired. So, so tired. I can't believe I have to get up again. Maybe I'll take a bath tonight. Ugh, I keep finding myself wanting to use emojis but it's harder on the computer. I looked for a couple that I wanted in the emoji tab of the blogger layout but it only has a limited selection. 

Okay! Ugh. I feel a little like I'm going to die BUT I think I'm ready to move again. Maybe. Yikes.
