Birthday Success

We celebrated a birthday today! I felt bad because even though we hope to do a big party soon, tonight's was pretty simple and I wanted my kid to have fun. Husband and I might have gone a little overboard in the last minute gift department, but it definitely made the day a little more fun. Especially husband, he bought a video game and that was probably the favorite thing. 

Another day, another worry soothed! The cake was lovely, in spite of my throwing it together, I didn't have to cook, my parents came to visit (which really is so, so lovely), we did some frantic cleaning so it looks quite nice in the house now! I'm pretty tired but I didn't do THAT much so I'm hoping tomorrow I won't be more tired than I already have been. (Maybe I should plan on a nap now??)
