Dinner is the WORST
One of the things Ms Therapist and I talked about was the potentially interactive properties of a blog. What a lovely idea! Especially in the process of figuring out religious deconstruction - I could hear everyone else's stories! Or parenting issues - how do we work through the difficulties of parenting? But now I want to know, what do you do for dinner when you really don't want to cook dinner? We had cereal last night since I took my kiddo out to the store just before dinnertime, and even if we hadn't, no one did dishes last night so we don't really have any clean bowls. I should have done some earlier today but I had therapy and I was tiiiiired. (Took a lil post-therapy couch nap earlier, so one might assume I actually had energy to make dinner, but alas my guts are a little angry which makes me hesitant.)
Do you keep frozen backups? (Oh I wonder if I have fajitas - I really like the steak fajita kit at walmart, that is often my backup.) Let everyone fend for themselves? Tough it out and make it anyway? We're taking a break from ordering out since we've done it a TON in the last few months and it's been very hard on the budget.
